Job Summary

As an Associate Merchandiser, you'll be the driving force behind getting great products from purchase order to store shelf. You'll work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, manage orders and reports, and help ensure the right stock arrives at the right place at the right time. If you enjoy organization, problem-solving, and keeping things moving behind the scenes, this role offers a front-row seat to the world of retail merchandising.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Create and uploading of purchase orders in EPR system

· Ensure order confirmations and invoices from suppliers are accurate

· Validate suppliers invoices and liaise with finance for payments

· Ensure pricing (cost & retail price) are accurate

· Follow up and keep track with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries

· Follow up with suppliers and liaise with stores for any inventory issues (e.g damage stocks, wrong items delivered, etc)

· Update purchase orders in system before stock receiving

· Liaising with stores and warehouse to arrange stock to stores.

· Weekly stock replenishment for stores

· Monitor stock level of key items and follow up with re-orders when necessary.

· Generate weekly and monthly reports.

· Tracking of consignment sales and arrange stock to be returned to suppliers on regular basis

· Prepare training materials and conduct seasonal product trainings and regular store visits.

· Provide sales analysis to suppliers, stock status or any other reports upon request

· Support operations when necessary

· Any other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Numerically inclined and meticulous

· Knowledge of retail and merchandising processes.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar software for data analysis.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Some experience in retail, buying, or merchandising is typically preferred.
