About Traveloka

Traveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travelers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognized consumer brands in the region.

We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that.

About The Team

We are the commercial engine behind Traveloka's accommodation business — and our patch is the independent hotels that give every Southeast Asian destination its character. From a boutique stay in Bali to a family-run inn in Da Nang, you sign the properties, shape the pricing, and make sure travelers find them at the right price, every time. This is a market built region by region, owner by owner, not from a Western playbook handed down.

You will own real partner relationships, negotiate the deals, and watch your destination climb in supply, competitiveness, and conversion. You think like an operator and a dealmaker, you read a market fast, and you turn a single hotel conversation into measurable growth. If you want a commercial role where your decisions show up in what millions of travelers can book, this is it.

About The Job

As an Associate Market Manager, you own a high-value country portfolio and shape how we attack it — an expert individual contributor with no direct reports, who lifts the work of the managers around you through influence rather than line authority.

  • Own the commercial plan for a major destination or set of destinations: set the priorities, secure the supply, and deliver the room-night and revenue targets.
  • Land the largest and most strategic hotel partnerships in your market, negotiating multi-quarter commitments and exclusives.
  • Build the competitiveness playbook for your patch — pricing, content, ranking, availability — and drive it consistently across the portfolio.
  • Spot structural supply gaps and demand opportunities and turn them into concrete acquisition and growth plays.
  • Mentor junior market managers and review their portfolios informally, lifting the quality of the team's commercial work without owning them.
  • Partner with pricing, product and marketing to unlock destination-level growth and improve the cross-sell bridge from flights.
  • Own the data story for your market and bring sharp, defensible recommendations to your manager and leadership.

Job Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years in hotel commercial or OTA market management, including ownership of a flagship destination.
  • You independently deliver complex, high-stakes commercial work in a major market and own the result.
  • You negotiate large, structured hotel deals and hold partners to their commitments over time.
  • You build and run a competitiveness and growth playbook rather than reacting account by account.
  • You read a whole market — supply, demand, competitor moves, seasonality — and set priorities that hold up under scrutiny.
  • You mentor and guide less experienced managers and raise the bar for how the team works, without managing them.
  • You influence pricing, product and marketing partners to get what your market needs.
  • You are highly fluent with analytics and AI tools and set the standard for data-driven decisions in your patch.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong commercial track record.
  • You communicate and negotiate fluently in English and your market's local language.
  • You have built a repeatable playbook that others adopted across markets.
  • You have deep relationships with hotel groups or major independents and can open doors quickly.
