About the Role

A newly created APAC Associate Manager, Revenue Accounting opportunity is now made available with a global US medical device leader. This is a pivotal role within a growing APAC Finance organization, offering the chance to build and shape the Revenue Center of Excellence (COE) for the region.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the APAC Business Controls and Technical Accounting Senior Manager, the APAC Associate Manager, Revenue will play a key role in establishing and operationalizing the Revenue COE across APAC. The position focuses on centralizing revenue expertise, driving process standardization, and enabling scalability across diverse markets. You will be responsible in reviewing and assessing sales contracts, resolving complex technical accounting matters, and ensuring full compliance with US GAAP, ASC 606, and internal revenue policies. The role will also contribute to developing standardized revenue processes, strengthening financial contract compliance, and supporting automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and control. Close collaboration with Finance, Commercial, Legal, and Compliance teams will be critical, along with leading training and awareness efforts on revenue-related risks and accounting standards across the region.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate is currently based in Singapore and holds a degree in Accounting or Finance, together with a recognized professional accounting qualification. Big 4 experience and strong technical expertise in US GAAP are must-haves, supported by 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or controllership, ideally within a US multinational environment. A solid grasp of SOX 404 and revenue accounting is essential. You should be dynamic, proactive, and business-minded professional with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to translate complex accounting concepts into clear, practical guidance for both finance and non-finance partners is key. Proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese will be an advantage for regional collaboration and for working with Mandarin- or Japanese-speaking counterparts. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, demonstrating adaptability, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
