Our client, a prestigious Japanese financial institution, is seeking an Associate - M&A Advisory (Vietnamese Speaking) to support cross-border M&A advisory activities across the Asia-Pacific region within its Investment Banking Division.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial advisory (FA) services, including supporting Japanese companies with overseas investments in the ASEAN region.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full transaction lifecycle and demonstrate strong commitment throughout the process.
- Conduct research and prepare presentation materials under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support negotiations and coordination among stakeholders involved in M&A transactions, including legal advisors, financial advisors, and target company management.
- Provide transaction execution support as directed by senior team members.
- Conduct research and extract relevant data for analysis and presentation materials.
- Assist in coordinating communication among all parties involved in M&A transactions
Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, or corporate investment (Associate level).
- Basic knowledge of financial valuation and financial modeling.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
(Advantageous)
- Experience supporting cross-border M&A transactions or ASEAN-related projects.
- Exposure to financial advisory, transaction execution, or investment analysis.
