What You Will Do
- Manage a caseload of litigation matters, including research, analysis, and strategy development
- Prepare and file court documents, such as pleadings, claim forms, memoranda of advice, and skeleton submissions
- Conduct client interviews, witness interviews, and negotiations
- Represent clients in meetings, and other dispute resolution proceedings
- Stay up-to-date with the latest legal developments and trends in the offshore financial services industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support to clients
- Prepare and deliver regular legal updates to clients
- Attend and participate in business development events, such as conferences and networking sessions, to expand the firm's client base and industry presence
What You Will Need
- 6-8 years of post-qualification experience with either an offshore law firm or major local or international law firm in Singapore
- Qualified to practise law in Singapore, England or Australia
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong drafting abilities, capable of producing high-quality legal documents and correspondence
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and the determination to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions
