Associate Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer in the field of Facilities management. In this role, your impact extends beyond classroom teaching to include facilitating meaningful learning experiences and contributing to academic excellence.

Requirements:

. A minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching and industry experience.

. At least a Bachelor's degree in any Engineering with experience in facilities management is required.

. A strong sense of professionalism, keen attention to detail, and excellent customer service and communication skills.

. A collaborative team player with a genuine passion for teaching and engaging students in Facilities management-related modules.

. Candidates with relevant training certifications and strong presentation skills will be given preference.

Job Descriptions:

• Prepare and deliver Lesson plans and instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Developing curriculum and course material that can be used across several platforms.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities

. Prepare the classroom environment to support effective teaching and learning.

. Setting and grading exams and assignments.

. Vetting of exam/assignment papers and second marking

. Conduct post-assessment analysis

. Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students varying needs

• Maintain accurate and complete records of student's progress and development

. Mentor students, especially industrial attachment students and assist them in their pursuit of graduation such as providing academic, career and employability advisement. Industrial Project supervision as assigned.
