The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and articulate Associate Interior Designer to join our Singapore studio. This role is suited for a senior-level designer with a strong track record in delivering high-end hospitality and residential projects, and who is confident leading teams and engaging directly with international clients and consultants.

You will play a key leadership role in managing interior architecture projects from concept through completion, ensuring design excellence while upholding SCDA's design vision.

Key Contributions

• Lead interior design projects across all phases, from concept to completion
• Drive design direction, ensuring alignment with SCDA's design ethos and quality standards
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Lead design presentations and manage client relationships with confidence and clarity
• Oversee space planning, material selection, and FF&E coordination
• Review and guide production of drawings, 3D visualisations, and presentation materials
• Mentor and support junior designers within the team
• Ensure strong coordination across disciplines for seamless project delivery
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and overall design integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with strong involvement in high-end hospitality and residential interior projects
• Proven experience in leading and managing projects independently
• Strong design sensibility with a refined eye for spatial composition, detailing, and materials
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging international clients and consultants
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) Revit knowledge is a plus
• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• A collaborative team leader who thrives in a fast-paced design environment
