The Job:

We are seeking an Associate, Institutional Partnerships to support DEC's member institutions across the full life of their membership.

This is a hands-on relationship and coordination role for someone who writes exceptionally well, enjoys working with senior academic audiences, and wants to see behind the scenes of how a global organisation actually runs.

You will report to DEC's Director of Institutional Partnerships and work closely with DEC's education, research and events teams, as well as with the leadership of the institutions we serve.

  • Support delegate management for DEC Leadership Summits, Executive Briefings and Working Groups, from invitations to post-event follow-up
  • Keep DEC's CRM accurate and up to date, and maintain the engagement reporting the team uses to see which members need attention
  • Coordinate with member champions and institutional teams to keep engagement plans on track

Your profile:

  • 0-2 years of relevant professional experience in partnerships, account management, membership organisations, consulting or higher education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging senior academic audiences with professionalism and warmth
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to keep many parallel relationships and deadlines moving without dropping any
  • Comfortable with digital tools, and quick to learn new systems
  • Genuine interest in higher education and in how AI is changing it
  • Comfortable working across time zones with a globally distributed team

Why apply for this role

  • Work directly with the presidents, provosts and deans of leading institutions across six continents
  • Work at the front edge of AI in education with a network of 200+ member institutions
  • Join a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation as it scales its impact globally
