Job Description

Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to enhance the Fund Finance product capabilities and expertise within MUFG's Asian Investment Banking Division in APAC. Based in Singapore, this will involve:

  • Support team members with the origination and execution of fund finance facilities provided to both new and existing clients, ensuring all processes are handled efficiently and accurately.

  • Assist with credit-related matters including constructing credit papers, performing financial modelling, negotiating terms and conditions, finalising documentation, arranging due diligence, and satisfying all conditions precedent.

  • Contribute to maintaining compliance and reporting requirements for the fund finance portfolios by ensuring timely completion of all necessary documentation and regulatory submissions.

  • Develop effective stakeholder relationships internally across departments as well as externally with clients and partners to support the delivery of high-quality fund finance products.

  • Take responsibility for general administration tasks related to the management of fund finance and securitisation portfolios, ensuring data integrity at all times.

  • Prioritise personal development by seeking out education opportunities that improve your skills and capabilities relevant to fund finance.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all applicable company policies while carrying out daily responsibilities within the team environment.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years experience in corporate or structured lending within the banking or finance industry

  • Ideally one to two years exposure specifically within fund finance will set you apart as a preferred candidate for this opportunity.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of core banking lending principles

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated financial acumen coupled with commercial awareness

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills enable you to build dependable relationships with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside the organisation.

  • A meticulous approach towards compliance
