Associate Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

. Supervise operation of Singtel Fiber Testing and Fiber Rectification work for various customer. Oversee contractors in the execution of maintenance works.

. Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with established operational procedures and engineering guidelines.

. Ensure contractors adhere to safety procedures in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA) and use the appropriate safety equipment.

. Supervise projects as assigned by manager, working with different stakeholders by providing direction and support

. Will be required to be activated after office hours when necessary to manage escalation and fibre outage

. Progressively update direct supervisor on daily work assignment and update relevant documentation.

Pre-requisites:

. Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.

. Able to work during non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours standby alert for ad-hoc faults.

. Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
