Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate with the Managing Agent to ensure effective property management services for the premises and tenanted spaces. Verify and oversee scheduled servicing works, monitoring follow-up actions to maintain M&E systems in optimal condition. Assess and approve proposed Repair and Improvement Works in line with financial guidelines for Minor Works. Ensure timely attendance to user and tenant complaints by the Managing Agent. Conduct site inspections to verify that the works are executed properly and to required standards. Maintain and update all architectural, structural, and M&E services documentation, including Operation and Maintenance Manuals. Ensure timely acquisition and renewal of necessary statutory licenses such as Lift Certificates and Fire Certificates. Escalate any service disruptions or emergencies to appropriate management and ensure prompt resolution. Assist in the preparation of competition waivers for engaging specialist contractors and prepare necessary documentation. Support the development of annual operational and capital budgets in collaboration with management. Perform regular audits to confirm that the Managing Agent maintains accurate financial records for all transactions. Review fire safety plans and evacuation procedures prepared by the Fire Safety Manager and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Oversee the implementation of fire safety drills and the documentation of drill reports.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 1-2 years of experience in building and facilities management and maintenance. Familiarity with WSH planning and implementation practices. Fire & Safety Management certification is a plus. Strong written and communication abilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset to maximize teamwork while being empowered to work independently.
