We are looking for an experienced Associate Engineer to join our Middleware Application team.
Reporting to the Section Lead, the incumbent focuses on learning and supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise application integration solutions.The position provides hands-on exposure to middleware technologies while working under the guidance of senior engineers and the section lead. It is open to fresh graduates with strong foundational knowledge in software development and a keen interest in integration technologies.
What You'll Do
- You will participate in structured onboarding and training on middleware concepts, tools, and integration patterns.
- You will shadow senior engineers on live projects to build practical knowledge.
- You will assist in the development, configuration, and testing of integration flows, APIs, and interfaces.
- You will Perform basic data mapping, transformation, and scripting tasks.
- You will support monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of integration incidents.
- You will execute test cases and assist in defect fixing.
- You will maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- You will follow coding standards, best practices, and governance processes.
- You will work closely with senior engineers, application teams, and project members.
- You will participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Who You Are
- You have a Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Science or related IT Discipline.
- You have a good understanding of programming concepts (Java, Python, or similar).
- You have knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and SQL
- You are familiar with any middleware or integration concepts.
- You have a good understanding of software development lifecycle and version control (Git).
- You have strong willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
- You have good analytical and problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication.
- You are a team player with a proactive attitude and able to work under supervision and follow instructions.
