Job Summary
BioSpectrum Asia seeks a seasoned Editorial Leader to represent the publication across the life sciences and biotechnology ecosystem, delivering strategic, high-impact content and engaging with senior industry stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Represent BioSpectrum Asia as the editorial face and thought leader at industry platforms, events, and media engagements
- Produce high-quality, insight-driven content across print, digital, and multimedia channels to inform and engage the life sciences community
- Conceptualise and curate content-driven conferences, roundtables, and leadership forums to foster industry dialogue and collaboration
- Identify, invite, and engage top-tier speakers, panelists, and industry experts to participate in editorial and event initiatives
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with CXOs, scientists, policymakers, and key stakeholders to enhance content relevance and reach
- Lead exclusive interviews, opinion pieces, video bytes, and special editorial features that highlight industry trends and innovations
- Ensure all content complies with industry standards, maintains data accuracy, and reflects global best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen BioSpectrum Asia's brand positioning and expand market influence
Required competencies and certifications
- Master's degree or higher in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 8-10+ years of experience in editorial leadership, scientific journalism, or industry-facing roles
- Strong expertise in biotech, pharma, medtech, and healthcare ecosystems
- Proven ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly, supported by facts and data
- Established professional network within the life sciences and healthcare industry
- Experience moderating panels, hosting discussions, or representing a brand at senior forums
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage confidently with C-level executives
