About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Associate Director to lead the delivery of high-quality fiduciary services to a portfolio of complex, high-value private wealth clients.
This is a senior leadership position where you will act as a trusted advisor to clients and intermediaries, oversee sophisticated trust and corporate structures and play a key role in business growth. You will also act as a director or authorised signatory on client entities, ensuring the highest standards of governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Business Growth
Act as Relationship Lead for a portfolio of complex, high-value structures, ensuring exceptional client service and retention
Take an active role in business development, including client meetings, networking and intermediary engagement
Support and deliver pitches, proposals and presentations to secure new business
Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and expand service offerings
Collaborate across jurisdictions and service lines to drive cross-selling opportunities
Build and maintain a strong network of introducers, advisors and industry professionals
Provide market insight and client feedback to support service development
Fiduciary Oversight & Governance
Act as a director or authorised signatory on client entities, exercising sound fiduciary judgment
Oversee the administration of complex trust, company and foundation structures
Review and approve key fiduciary transactions and documentation
Lead onboarding, periodic reviews, and risk assessments across the client portfolio
Ensure all client activities comply with regulatory, legal and internal requirements
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
Manage portfolio performance, including billing, WIP recovery and debtor management
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and legal professionals
Support audits, compliance monitoring, and assurance reviews
Drive process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
Ensure accurate and secure maintenance of client data and records
Oversee governance of client onboarding processes, ensuring robust due diligence and risk management
Leadership & Culture
Lead, mentor, and develop Managers, Senior Managers and junior team members
Foster a collaborative, high-performance and inclusive team environment
Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across teams
Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Support diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing initiatives
About You
Essential Experience
8-10+ years experience in fiduciary, private wealth, or corporate services
Strong technical knowledge of trust, company, and foundation structures
Proven leadership and team management experience
Experience acting as a director, signatory, or controlled function
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
Relevant professional qualification (STEP, CGIUKI or equivalent)
Desirable
Experience with multi-jurisdictional or UHNW client structures
Familiarity with digital administration or client management platforms
Strong track record of delivering commercial performance while managing risk
Exposure to transformation, system implementation, or process improvement initiatives
