Responsibilities
Strategic leadership on key clients, in partnership with Strategy Director
- Lead end-to-end communications and media strategy for priority clients, both local and regional.
- Translate client business challenges into clear strategic frameworks that guide planning, channel selection, and investment decisions.
- Work with local market planning teams across the region to ensure strategies are consistently reflected
- Identify paths to growth through audience insight, market dynamics and cultural trends.
- Help position the agency as a strategic partner rather than a purely executional media provider.
Agency-wide strategic excellence
- Champion and embed strategic products, frameworks and tools to strengthen planning standards.
- Guide teams in transforming data, insights, and cultural understanding into compelling strategies.
- Encourage and drive award wins through award-winning work, as well as improving submission quality
New business & growth
- Contribute to new business pitches through strategic thinking, insight development, and narrative building.
- Support the development of compelling strategic storytelling in presentations and proposals.
Required Experience and Capabilities
- 8+ years in media agencies, including within a strategy & insights role
- A proven track record of leading strategic initiatives
- Strong collaboration skills - working with different client teams, agency and partner stakeholders to gain alignment around a focused strategic approach
- Solid understanding of the media landscape to ensure strategies are implementable
- Open-minded and flexible in thought and tactics
- Strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills
