Are you looking for an opportunity to support collaborative, futures-led, systemic efforts to create a just and regenerative future in Southeast Asia Forum for the Future is recruiting an Associate Director role to provide leadership within its Southeast Asia programme.
With a primary responsibility for executing an effective income generation strategy for the regional programme, you will bring experience, networks and deep expertise in shaping a compelling portfolio of regional initiatives, securing resources for quality implementation, providing excellent partner relationship-management and enabling monitoring, evaluation and learning to be embedded well into the programme's work and approach.
The ideal candidate thrives within a collaborative environment and enjoys nurturing a culture of creativity and care, both as a line-manager and senior leader within the team. Your subject matter knowledge and systemic practice capabilities will position you well to direct Forum's projects on issues ranging from the energy transition, resilient food systems, climate and health, and shaping the purpose of business in society.
About the role
Forum is at an exciting time in its evolution. As we approach our 30th anniversary, this role holds the potential to enhance our ability to create deep and lasting impact in Southeast Asia.
Our strategy focuses upon shaping deep transition pathways towards future energy, food and market systems. In Southeast Asia, we have created impactful multistakeholder collaborative initiatives in each of these systems. It requires a steady income pipeline to grow their impact, as well as identifying future areas where our systems-thinking, applied futures and collective action capabilities can serve change-makers.
To thrive in this role, you will require senior expertise in developing and implementing fundraising and development strategies for non-profits. You should have an established network within the donor community, previous experience with environmental, social impact and/or development work. You should possess skills in effective grant management and creativity in conceptualising opportunities for new programmes in service of this region.
You will contribute to project delivery, so having a deep appreciation for-and prior experience of-systems-thinking, applied futures and building collaborations will be an asset.
