Job Summary

You will identify, develop, and maintain major client relationships by assessing their investment needs and risk profiles. You will conduct KYC and AML processes, deliver superior customer service, acquire clients, generate revenue from assets under management, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs, desires, and risk profiles to advise on suitable investment solutions
  • Identify and develop major client relationships to expand the bank's wealth management portfolio
  • Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes and complete all required documentation accurately
  • Deliver superior customer service to enhance the overall client experience and satisfaction
  • Acquire new clients and generate revenue by growing assets under management (AUM)
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant rules, regulations, and compliance requirements governing wealth management services
  • Manage portfolios and provide advisory services tailored to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders in a fast-paced, client-centric environment
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English to engage clients and internal teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, priority banking, or financial advisory services
  • Proven experience managing HNW or UHNW clients within a financial institution
  • Experience in client acquisition, relationship management, and portfolio advisory
  • Prior experience working with international or cross-border client segments
  • Good knowledge of investment and wealth management products including managed investments, foreign exchange, securities and derivatives, structured products, insurance, and financial planning solutions
  • Ability to maintain strong compliance discipline while delivering advisory services
  • Relevant regulatory certifications such as CMFAS / CACS Paper 1 & 2
  • Strong understanding of the background and needs of mainland China HNW/UHNW clients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as a collaborative team player
  • Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin to effectively interact with Cantonese-speaking clients and stakeholders
