Are You The One
We are seeking a high-energy Project Manager to join our fast-growing Fintech team. This role sits at the critical intersection of product innovation, client success, and co-developing embedded finance solutions. You will lead the implementation of our Spend, Lend, and Send business areas for leading banks and Fintechs across South and Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Implementation: Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle, from defining scope and technical objectives to final execution and delivery.
- Client Onboarding: Partner with clients to onboard and deploy embedded finance solutions, ensuring seamless integration with their existing ecosystems.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Manage a cross-section of internal teamsincluding Tech, Product, Operations, and Complianceto hit critical milestones.
- Technical Problem Solving: Co-develop solutions based on client requirements while navigating constraints of regulation, cost, resources, and time.
- Stakeholder Communication: Track project metrics and provide consistent updates on progress, strategy, and innovation to all stakeholders.
- Ecosystem Management: Act as the primary bridge between the Sponsor Bank, the Client, and internal Engineering teams to resolve technical or regulatory blockers.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of project/program management experience specifically within digital payments, digital finance, or the Fintech industry.
- Client Management: A strong, proven track record in client-facing roles is highly preferred.
- Execution: A history of ensuring time-bound completion of high-quality, complex technical projects.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence through informal networks.
- Mindset: Self-driven, innovative, and comfortable with the rapid execution required in a startup environment.
- BaaS/Embedded Finance and/or API based Proficiency: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and how embedded finance modules integrate into third-party apps.
- Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of payments, card/switch networks (Visa/Mastercard), and the prepaid/digital wallet domain.
- Regulatory Literacy: Familiarity with regional compliance standards such as KYC/AML, PCI-DSS, and Data Privacy (PDPA/GDPR) as they apply to Fintech.
- Project Management skills/training: Proven ability to work in a high paced project execution environments, managing multiple deliverables and using technical project
- management tools (like Monday.com, ClickUp, Asana, Trello etc.)
- Project Governance: Demonstrate expertise at using structured management frameworks for both long-term strategic projects and short-term tactical fixes.
