About the Opportunity
An established, high-performing regional digital team is seeking an Associate Performance Director to lead strategic planning, executional excellence, and performance optimisation across multiple markets. This role sits at the intersection of regional leadership, hands-on platform expertise, and client partnership, with accountability from planning through to reporting and commercial stewardship.
The successful candidate will act as a regional digital leader, guiding local teams while working closely with clients, global counterparts, creative agencies, and media partners to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & Delivery
- Drive day-to-day operational excellence for self and the teams under management
- Ensure flawless execution across planning, activation, optimisation, and reporting
- Own cadence across pacing, optimisation, performance analysis, and learning agendas
- Expand and enhance the brand's digital footprint across markets
Performance & Measurement
- Analyse and interpret campaign data to generate actionable business insights
- Build clear hypotheses, measurement frameworks, and success metrics across markets
- Translate performance data into compelling narratives and client-ready storytelling
- Continuously optimise campaigns to maximise outcomes using strong platform knowledge
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Act as a key regional point of contact for clients, partners, and global stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with creative agencies on asset planning, delivery, and innovation
- Represent client objectives in partner meetings and stay ahead of platform developments
- Drive innovation opportunities through deep publisher and platform engagement
- Manage daily publisher communications for live campaign management
Commercial & Financial Stewardship
- Ensure all campaigns are accurately recorded, tracked, and invoiced
- Maintain strong finance governance, ensuring timely and accurate billing
- Uphold accountability across budget management and financial reporting
Reporting & Tools
- Use Excel and data tools to analyse performance and produce client-facing reports
- Cover reporting across SEM, PLA, Paid Social, Programmatic, Video, and Display
Required Experience & Attributes
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing or strategic marketing consulting
- Strong hands-on activation experience across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, X, DV360, and Bing
- Deep understanding of digital metrics, performance indicators, and analytics
- Solid knowledge of integrated digital disciplines including audience targeting and measurement
- Proven ability to manage and lead large teams across multiple markets
- Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and inter-agency collaboration skills
- Highly analytical with strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently with a self-learning mindset
- Demonstrates critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong time management
- Clear, persuasive verbal and written communicator
- High-energy, motivated, and collaborative with an approachable leadership style
- Effective under pressure with flexibility to work extended hours when required
