Associate Director, M&A
Overview
We are partnering with a leading international financial institution to hire an experienced M&A to join their Southeast Asia team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cross-border strategic transactions across multiple sectors, with exposure to both deal origination and execution in a lean and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and execute M&A transactions from pitch through to completion
Perform financial analysis, valuation, and modelling to assess potential opportunities
Assist in the preparation of client materials, pitchbooks, and transaction documentation
Participate in due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Conduct industry, market, and company research to support strategic decision-making
Work closely with senior bankers on deal origination efforts across Southeast Asia
Contribute to day-to-day project management across live transactions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
4+ years of relevant experience in M&A / Investment Banking / Corporate Finance
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skillset
Demonstrated deal experience across a mix of sectors, including:
Healthcare
Consumer
Financial Institutions Group (FIG)
Business Services
Fintech
Ideally, candidates should have had exposure to transactions in each of the above sectors
