Associate Director Legal, Asset Management firm

The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to the various internal departments
• Help to design fund structures that meet both investor expectations and legal requirements.
• Work with other in-house counsels and outside counsels, as required
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents including limited partnership agreement, investment management agreement, shareholder agreement, and sale and purchase agreement
• Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in law with at least 9- 13 years PQE in law firm or fund management industry. Experience working in licensed fund management companies is preferred
