Make an Impact by:

• Lead business development, partnership management and product marketing for the General Insurance business.
• Manage the General Insurance business and lead the General Insurance team to plan, develop and execute business and marketing strategies, as well as identify growth areas and initiatives to generate revenue and achieve P&L targets for Singtel's IDS BU.
• Drive the marketing and sale of General Insurance products with insurance partner(s), by leveraging rich telco data analytics, targeted marketing campaigns, digital channels, physical distribution networks, strategic bundling with telco core products and tactical promotions, in collaboration with Singtel's Mobile, Home, Sales, Digital, Customer Lifecycle Management and Operations teams.
• Deepen collaboration with insurance partner(s) by strengthening positive rapport, pursuing win-win outcomes, leveraging opportunities and leading initiatives to drive campaign effectiveness, enhance customer experiences and improve product competitiveness to meet partnership performance targets.
• Scout and engage prospective insurance partners for potential areas of collaboration and new revenue streams, driving partnership RFI discussions, and negotiating scope, obligations, commercial arrangements and other key terms, with the goal of sealing favourable P&L and contractual policy positions for Singtel in a timely manner.
• Oversee General Insurance business squads to drive campaign execution, lead generation and sales conversion with insurance partner(s), define requirements for General Insurance product roadmap and sales distribution initiatives, end-to-end user experience and product branding.
• Work with insurance partner(s) to co-create General Insurance products with market-differentiating propositions.
• Collaborate and maintain cordial relationships with other Singtel BUs to fulfil General Insurance business targets.
• Manage the overall General Insurance budget, including tracking spends against budget and forecasts.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or its equivalent.
• 10 years of business development and digital product marketing experience.
• 7 years of relevant experience in partnership onboarding and development, demonstrating excellent business acumen and strong knowledge in product, marketing, financial, legal, operational and technical fields, preferably in the insurance, banking or financial services industry.
• 5 years of relevant experience in driving product marketing campaigns.
• 3 years of relevant experience in senior cross-functional stakeholder management and leadership over a team of direct reports with P&L responsibilities.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of personal and commercial lines of General Insurance products, including but not limited to travel, motor, home, maid, cyber, SME and liability insurance insurance distribution models and channels and insuretech solutions.
• Eager to explore potential partnership opportunities and astute in assessing partners fit and commercial proposals, demonstrating strong networking, selling and negotiating skills with an analytical mindset.
• Passionate in keeping up to date with insurance, insurtech and fintech trends, regulatory developments, and evolving needs of key market segments and their relevance and propensity to various General Insurance products.
• Able to work well with ambiguity and deal with a wide range of complex issues from operational to strategic, involving different business units and stakeholders of Singtel and insurance partner(s) spanning multiple layers of management.
• Proficient in communications and data analytics, and familiar with marketing automation and Microsoft products.
