Associate Director, Financial Communications Advisory (Singapore)
My client is a top-tier financial advisory communications firm that is looking for an Associate Director or Vice President to be based out of their Singapore office. The right candidate will have strong experience in financial communications and strategy across financial services and capital markets. They will be involved in all facets of financial public relations, M&A, transactions, capital markets advisory, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Senior client advisor for strategic communications, ensuring alignment with business goals and value for stakeholders.
- Manage all client servicing: performance, profitability, forecasting, billing, account planning, and delivery .
- Lead and mentor account teams, support talent growth, and balance workloads.
- Shape integrated communications programs across internal and external audiences.
- Provide expert counsel and strategy during crises and sensitive issues.
- Drive business growth through client expansion, pitches, networking, and developing new opportunities .
- Apply commercial skills to retain accounts, maximise success, and optimize resources .
- Identify new revenue opportunities, oversee sales process, and maintain accurate records .
- Ensure high service quality, timely project delivery, and continuous process improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, contribute to agency initiatives, and support global marketing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive senior-level communications experience with complex accounts and executive relationships in financial services.
- Strong sector expertise in insurance, asset management, capital markets, fintech, technology, and sustainability.
- Ability to advise on digital transformation, regulation, market changes, and sustainability .
- Advanced financial and commercial knowledge, skilled in topics like M&A, funding, IPOs, and reporting.
- Successful in business development and client retention, adept at presenting and building relationships.
