As demand grows for specialist support on policy wordings and coverage matters, we are looking for a Coverage Specialist to join our regional CRS Technical Excellence team in Asia. In this role, you will provide guidance on policy wordings and re/insurance coverage issues, supporting brokers and client teams across direct insurance and reinsurance. The role offers exposure across several business lines, with a particular focus on property and casualty risks.

We are looking for someone with strong relevant experience, sound technical judgement and the confidence to contribute from day one. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership, working across different business groups and supporting colleagues across multiple markets in Asia. This role can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong and offers strong opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Proven experience in policy wordings and insurance-related work, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
The confidence to take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality outcomes in a collaborative environment.
Experience drafting policies and contracts, with the adaptability to refine existing wording and help develop new solutions.
Strongorganisationalskills, with the ability to manage a full pipeline of work and balance multiple priorities.
Confidence facilitating complex technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail, paired with the ability to see the broader commercial and client context.
An inquisitive, problem-solving approach and a consistent commitment to high standards.
Adaptability to work across a range of policy wordings and support brokers in a practical, user-friendly way.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with colleagues, clients and carriers across the risk transfer cycle.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and deepening technical insurance expertise.
What you'll bring
A law degree or relevant insurance qualification.
2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience gained in private practice or in-house legal roles, with a focus on re/insurance contracts, policy terms, endorsements and related insurance documentation.
Strong technical insurance knowledge, particularly across property and casualty product lines, including international and multinational contracts.
Anunderstanding of the Asia, London/Lloyd's and international insurance markets and related practices.
A genuine interest in insurance, insurance products and the clients served by Aon Commercial Risk Solutions.
Strong contract drafting skills, particularly in relation to policy wordings and coverage analysis.
Excellent written English, with the ability to draft clearly ina modern, commercial style.
