Role Overview

As an Associate Director, you will be a hands-on analytics leader responsible for designing and delivering advanced analytics, measurement, and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making for clients and internal stakeholders. You will combine strong technical expertise with business acumen to translate complex data into actionable insights, helping clients optimize marketing performance and investment decisions.

This role is predominantly an individual contributor, with responsibility for leading complex analytics engagements, developing scalable analytical solutions, and driving automation through AI-enabled capabilities. You will also mentor a small team of analysts, provide technical guidance, and contribute to capability development across the practice.

Key Responsibilities -

Reporting Automation & AI:

  • Design and develop scalable dashboards, reporting solutions, and self-service analytics products.
  • Build automated analytics workflows using SQL, python, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Develop reusable analytics frameworks and accelerators that improve efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Apply generative AI and agentic AI capabilities to automate reporting, accelerate insight generation, improve documentation, and enhance analytics workflows.

Data & Analytics Excellence:

  • Ensure high standards of data quality, validation, and analytical accuracy.
  • Build analytics-ready datasets and collaborate with engineering teams to improve data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.
  • Work with data from major marketing platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon Ads, CRM, and sales systems.
  • Contribute to the development of standardized measurement methodologies and best practices.

Advanced Analytics & Measurement:

  • Develop statistical and machine learning models including:
  • Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
  • Attribution, hypothesis testing and Incrementality Measurement
  • Regression modelling & predictive Analytics
  • Customer Segmentation
  • Perform campaign performance analysis, media effectiveness measurement, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Translate analytical outputs into practical recommendations that improve business and marketing outcomes.

Data Governance & Infrastructure:

  • Implement data validation, quality checks, and monitoring across pipelines.
  • Manage API connectors for ingesting data from Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, CM360, LinkedIn, and other marketing platforms.
  • Build and optimize analytics-ready datasets and data models powering BI dashboards and measurement frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow/Composer.
  • Support cloud-based deployment of ML models using CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration tools.

Client Consulting & Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with media, strategy, planning, product, and client teams to define measurement approaches and analytical solutions.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks, success metrics, and measurable outcomes.
  • Support new business initiatives by contributing analytical expertise during pitches and solution design.

Team Leadership & Capability Development:

  • Provide technical mentorship and day-to-day guidance to junior analysts and data scientists.
  • Review analytical outputs and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
  • Support project planning, workload prioritization, and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay current with emerging analytics, AI, and marketing measurement trends, and help drive adoption across the practice.

Required Skills & Experience -

Technical Expertise:

  • Must have skills:
  • SQL and cloud data warehouses (GCP,BigQuery, GCS).
  • Data Visualization & BI Tools, specifically Power BI, Google Data Studio
  • Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, pyspark, keras, num-py, ML frameworks for modelling).
  • Hands-on experience in performing:
  • Predictive modelling (Regression, forecasting, attribution modelling)
  • Marketing analytics & media measurement
  • Experience with advertising, campaign, impression, and media spend datasets.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (LlamaIndex, LangChain, OpenAI, Copilot) to accelerate workflows.

  • Strong communication, storytelling ability, stakeholder and client management skills
  • Ability to translate analytical outputs into business language.
  • High analytical curiosity, attention to detail, and problem-solving strength.
  • Collaborative mindset across analytics, engineering, product, strategy & media teams.

  • Ability to guide teams toward analytical excellence and influence decision-making.
