Job Summary

The Associate Director Admissions will lead the admissions department for a specific campus, setting strategic goals, managing a team, overseeing applicant evaluation, and enhancing stakeholder relationships to drive student enrolment growth.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales goals by forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly student enrolment targets with the Admissions Team
  • Develop admissions strategies through data analysis and align functional objectives with organizational goals
  • Improve parent engagement and experience to achieve student enrolment targets
  • Manage end-to-end marketing and sales strategies within budget to meet monthly admission targets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant information in the CRM system for review and reference
  • Plan and deliver regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills in sales tools and counselling techniques
  • Motivate, inspire, and support the admissions team to achieve predetermined student admission targets
  • Design and improve customer interfaces related to admissions procedures, counselling, and service standards
  • Administer student admissions, visas, policies, and procedures in compliance with Ministry of Education and academic requirements
  • Oversee maintenance and updating of student databases, progression pathways, and alumni records in coordination with internal staff
  • Develop and monitor statistical reports to optimize recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Principal to monitor and control student withdrawals and develop strategies to increase enrolment
  • Plan and implement marketing activities aligned with budgets and admissions targets
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to inform recruitment strategies
  • Monitor market trends and report shifts to Management for strategic decision-making
  • Identify and develop new channels to reach target audiences
  • Represent OWIS at open houses, seminars, conferences, and workshops to build networks within the education sector

Required competencies and certifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institute
  • 10-15 years of experience in admissions roles within K-12 international schools
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in admissions in K-12 international schools
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with deep knowledge of the K-12 international school segment
  • Availability to work 5.5 days per week
