Job Summary
The Associate Director Admissions will lead the admissions department for a specific campus, setting strategic goals, managing a team, overseeing applicant evaluation, and enhancing stakeholder relationships to drive student enrolment growth.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales goals by forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly student enrolment targets with the Admissions Team
- Develop admissions strategies through data analysis and align functional objectives with organizational goals
- Improve parent engagement and experience to achieve student enrolment targets
- Manage end-to-end marketing and sales strategies within budget to meet monthly admission targets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant information in the CRM system for review and reference
- Plan and deliver regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills in sales tools and counselling techniques
- Motivate, inspire, and support the admissions team to achieve predetermined student admission targets
- Design and improve customer interfaces related to admissions procedures, counselling, and service standards
- Administer student admissions, visas, policies, and procedures in compliance with Ministry of Education and academic requirements
- Oversee maintenance and updating of student databases, progression pathways, and alumni records in coordination with internal staff
- Develop and monitor statistical reports to optimize recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the Principal to monitor and control student withdrawals and develop strategies to increase enrolment
- Plan and implement marketing activities aligned with budgets and admissions targets
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to inform recruitment strategies
- Monitor market trends and report shifts to Management for strategic decision-making
- Identify and develop new channels to reach target audiences
- Represent OWIS at open houses, seminars, conferences, and workshops to build networks within the education sector
Required competencies and certifications
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institute
- 10-15 years of experience in admissions roles within K-12 international schools
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in admissions in K-12 international schools
- Strong leadership and communication skills with deep knowledge of the K-12 international school segment
- Availability to work 5.5 days per week
