An Associate Consultant is able to work with limited guidance and on own initiative. Work will be scoped, allocated, then reviewed by a more experienced colleague. The focus is on client delivery supporting others as part of a team. At this level there can be direct interaction with clients, but the bulk of work will be desk/office based. Some analytical support may be business development focused but this is not a major accountability area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the translation of strategic direction onto organizational construct and organizational capabilities
  • Designing and rolling out organizational heath checks and diagnostics
  • Understanding the links between leadership, structure, talent and culture
  • Creating business cases that describe the drivers and case for change, the timeline and impact, and the specific impacts and ultimate benefits
  • Developing detailed project management plans including change management, communications, risk mitigation, organizational alignment, stakeholder management, organization design, behaviour change, education, training and measurement
  • Engaging key stakeholders in the business to ensure that there is a clear and consistent understanding of the objectives and outcomes of the project
  • Working with and coaching leaders in our clients to implement transformation

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Finance, Human Resources Strategy, Economics, Analytics or related area, Masters preferred
  • Some (1-2 years) previous relevant business experience, preferably with demonstrated interest in human resources strategy
  • Skilled in understanding and applying, standard solutions and product offerings relevant to Organizational Strategy including strong financial and analytical skills
  • Knows how to identify and apply the tools, techniques, or procedures appropriate to assigned work
  • Understands and recognizes similarities between the client's business and other clients/organizations within its industry
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office
