As an Associate Consultant at ESC, you will support the delivery of multidisciplinary consultancy services across Asia, contributing to projects in environmental, social, safety and sustainability domains. You will be involved in research, fieldwork, data analysis, and report preparation. You will also assist in producing client-facing deliverables, coordinating field activities, and supporting stakeholder engagement efforts. In addition to technical contributions, you will help with business development, project coordination, compliance tracking, and internal operations. This role is ideal for early-career professionals seeking to build expertise through collaboration with experienced consultants, clients, and authorities.

Job Responsibilities

. Conduct research, data collection and contribute to technical assessments and sustainability-related studies.

. Coordinate and support fieldwork activities, including site surveys, sampling, and supervision.

. Analysedata and prepare technical reports, monitoring plans, and presentation materials.

. Support client and authority liaison efforts, working under guidance from senior consultants.

. Assist in proposal development, quotation preparation, and cost estimation.

. Provide support for helpdesk operations and compliance tracking.

. Maintain documentation such as legal registers and permitting records.

. Contribute to regional regulatory guidance and internal knowledge sharing.

. Participate in marketing and business development initiatives.

. Collaborate across teams to support project delivery throughout Asia.

. This role offers a structured pathway to Consultant level, with opportunities for mentorship, training, and cross-disciplinary exposure.

Job Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, biology, chemistry, or a related discipline.

. Suitable for fresh graduates or early-career professionals with up to 2 years of relevant experience, including internships or project-based work.

. Familiarity with environmental regulations and frameworks across Asia.

. Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.

. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presentations.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office knowledge of geospatial or environmental analysis tools is an advantage.

. Abilityto work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to evolving project needs.

. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

. Professional integrity and accountability in both client-facing and internal interactions.
