This is a one-year maternity cover contract position.
Job Description:
- Review bank reconciliation and posting
- Review all GL, HR and director related entries
- Review all production related entries / recon and issues
- Perform withholding tax requirement check and reporting
- Review invoices for Account Receivables / interco billing/IB&A deals
- Handles all issues raises related to Bank recon/AP/AR/IB&A
- Ensure compliance for GST/Reverse charge / withholding tax/overseas tax related issues
- Monitor and review for IB&A teams/deals related issues
- Ensure staff follow up on outstanding items
- Advise on GST/Reverse charge / withholding tax related issues
- Review Quarterly GST submission
- Ensure all tax related issues (India/SG) are addressed and submitted
- Reviews submission for annual FSI and related reporting
- Review reporting/surveys for MAS/department of statistic etc
- Ensure all monthly accrual / provision entries are posted before monthly end closing
- Ensure all required system entries are generated and posted (Depreciation/ROU/prepayment)
- Perform month end run for SAP
- Liaise with inter companies for recon breaks
- Complete all reports required for Group reporting (including ad hoc reports)
- Liaise with auditors/ tax agent on audit and tax issues
- Prepare yearend financial statement
- Prepare documents required for Board / Finance Council
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Review vendor's FS for vendor assessment (required by Risk)
- Compile required reporting for Risk reporting
Requirement:
- Good Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
- Good understanding of the stock broking industry and process
- Minimum 4 years in Financial Accounting
- Proficient in the use of financial systems and PC applications
- Technically competent with up-to-date knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Responsible, good team player, independent, proactive, meticulous and possess initiative.
- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Good command in both spoken and written English
