Job Description

Our client is a leading brokerage and investment bank with a strong presence across ASEAN, as well as in the UK and the US. The firm provides a comprehensive range of services, including corporate finance and advisory, debt and equity capital markets, derivatives trading, brokerage, research for retail and institutional clients, and prime brokerage.

This role is part of the Corporate Finance & Advisory team within the Investment Banking & Advisory division in Singapore. The successful candidate will be involved in executing corporate finance and investment banking transactions across various industries in both local and regional markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, equity fundraisings, and M&A deals, from origination through completion
  • Manage key workstreams such as due diligence and documentation, coordinating closely with auditors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders, including submissions to regulatory authorities such as SGX-ST
  • Identify potential risks and issues in transactions, and collaborate with relevant parties to develop mitigation strategies
  • Prepare presentations, pitch decks, and proposals for client engagements
  • Perform detailed market research, financial analysis, and valuation modelling to support transaction decisions
  • Support senior bankers in client relationship management and contribute to mentoring junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CMFAS Advising on Corporate Finance certification (or relevant exemptions), along with any other required CMFAS modules
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or capital markets
  • Strong knowledge of SGX-ST listing rules and applicable regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • High attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
