The Client Engagement Team's mission is to engage and grow Maybank's retail business, through a wide range of financial products and services. We are looking for a results-driven individual with a strong sales mindset and a keen interest in capital markets to join our team
Job Description
- Present and promote Maybank trading and investment products and services to existing and prospective customers
- Proactively seek to connect with and reactivate lapsed accounts through outbound calls
- Educate the client base on a range of investment products
- Establish, develop and maintain strong customer relationships with new and existing clients
- Take a proactive approach to managing existing clients, discussing investment opportunities and market research
- Look for opportunities to cross sell products
- Actively seek out and report client feedback, needs and problems to improve products and services, grow sales and enhance the client experience
- Analyze the competitor landscape to assess the latest industry trends
- Champion the company's values by promoting desired vision, attitude and culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Banking and Finance, Economics etc.).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, relationship or account management, preferably within a related industry.
- An entrepreneurial mind set, capable of proactively seeking new opportunities and contributing ideas to the team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations on Maybank products
- Highly motivated with a desire to hit targets
- A strong interest in investing, trading or financial markets in general
- Experience in a sales or relationship management role, preferably with a competitor or in a related industry
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Banking and Finance, Economics etc.)
- Any of CMFAS modules 1B, 1A, 2A, 5, 6 and 6A
