Assistant Warehouse Manager (3PL / E-commerce)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations - oversee inbound receiving, inter warehouse transfer (IWT), reverse logistics, cycle count and export shipment.

• Supervise and lead warehouse staff - manage, coach, and monitor performance of warehouse team members.

• Coordinate inventory control - conduct and support regular inventory checks, cycle counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.

• Maintain warehouse safety compliance - ensure all safety rules, health standards, and regulatory requirements are followed within the warehouse.

• Implement and monitor SOPs - enforce standard operation procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities and help update procedures for better efficiency.

• Manage import shipments - liaise with local forwarders to arrange shipment truck in and out. To check accuracy of import receiving and putaway.

• Assist with system and data management - update warehouse system, handle stock IWT transactions and database entries.

• Manage stock discrepancies - investigate stock variances, oversee adjustments, and implement corrective actions for inventory errors.

• Support continuous improvement - identify and suggest workflow improvements, cost-saving ideas, and efficiency initiatives.

• Handle ad-hoc duties - carry out additional tasks assigned by the warehouse manager or senior management as required.
