Job Description

Credit Portfolio Management is responsible for monitoring the portfolio quality against established criteria, and recommending adjustments to existing credit facilities as appropriate to minimize or hedge risk, or optimize portfolio performance.

Control Functions covers activities related to functions such as legal, compliance and anti-money laundering, audit, and risk management. The Risk Management function is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk. May include establishing risk management procedures and processes to ensure adherence to policies.

You will be in the Quality Assurance (QA) team to establish QA reports via an automated approach to ensure compliance to regulatory and UOB internal policy standards. At the same time, you will need to handle all the audit, compliance, KRCSA, OR monitoring and reporting. Key focus on the QA automation to cover PFS segment; which includes approval, and credit management/collections aspects.

Process improvement projects will be part of the job scope.

You will directly report to Head of Surveillance, Control and Reporting in Group Credit Retail.

Requirements

  • Relevant Experience on Retail Credit areas for 2 years+
  • Good working knowledge in Retail Banking Operations, Credit Approval, Credit Approval and Credit Management/Collections
  • Strong programming skills (e.g. SAS, Python, VBA) & analytical skills. Highly preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain the outcomes to stakeholders
  • Innovative and results oriented
