Prime Brokerage Operations is responsible for the end to end process of Trade Life Cycle including Static and Reference Data, Trade Processing, Settlement, Reconciliation and Corporate Actions across all asset classes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
- Ensure accuracyand timeliness in trade capture, settlement, exception management, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
- Lead operational risk management through proactive monitoring and resolution of trade and settlement issues.
- Collaborate with technology teams on system enhancements, including UAT participation and process validation.
- Maintain effective relationships with banks and counterparties, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage trade matching through platforms, and oversee reconciliation of cash and positions.
- Document, review, and update internal processes to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
- Provide leadership in daily operations and contribute to team capability building and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent
- With at least more than 5 years of related experience in similar space.
- Proficient in managing operational processes, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency across trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Hands on and attentive to details.
- Strong sense of responsibility, taking ownership and initiatives.
- Strong team player, motivated, driven and works well under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
