Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

To lead and operationalize the Organization's Integrity initiatives and ensure the internal Integrity Governance is always kept on par with Regulatory and other Legislative requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To advise the Head of Section on all integrity-related matters and initiatives.
  • To project manage all integrity related internal forums, seminars, workshops etc.
  • Plan and define the detailed Integrity Annual Roadmap
  • Perform periodic corruption risk assessment and review of historical cases.
  • Build a strong network and act as the liaison person for all engagements with Regulators and Governance Agencies.
  • Prepare monthly reports on integrity related issues, regulatory updates, best practices and other industry hot spots.
  • Conduct review and verification, and where required, investigation involving unethical practices (in coordination with Human Resources).
  • Deliver regular awareness and understanding programs in ethics and integrity.
  • Develop and implement integrity and governance framework which include but not limited to Integrity and Governance Policy, Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy, Conflict of Interest etc.
  • Monitor and review effectiveness of initiatives/programmes/activities undertaken for continuous improvement.
  • Periodically conduct/drive the corruption risk assessments across Air Selangor.
  • Periodically review all policies and SOPs across organization to ensure Corruption/Bribery Risk elements are addressed and managed.
  • Plan/ coordinate/ facilitate meetings with business units, management and other personnel.
  • Prepare mandatory quarterly reports to the Board Audit Committee (BAC) or whenever necessary outside the mandatory period.
  • To prepare half-yearly mandatory Integrity Reports to Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) and Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) or whenever necessary.
  • Maintain frequent contact with the industry's practitioner for job improvement and compliance with industry's best practices.
  • Undertake any other integrity/governance work as required from time to time.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field
  • Degree in Accounting/ Law (LLB)/ Finance/ Engineering/ Governance/ Risk Management/ other appropriate professional qualification
  • At least 9-10 years working experience, preferably in integrity, governance, compliance or risk management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) or Corruption Risk Management (CRM) will be an added advantage.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional CCEP), or equivalent is highly preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System, COSO Risk Management and other bribery/ corruption/ integrity risk related concept, knowledge and practices, managerial skills and business knowledge.
  • Good leadership skills
  • Ability to influence, challenge and negotiate risks, (Including good communication and interpersonal skills).
  • Good in Power Point, Excel and Word applications.
  • Strong report writing skills (English and Malay).
  • Has the relevant problem-solving skills
  • Well-versed with Risk Management standards/ concepts/ methodologies and experienced in applying them to enhance organisational resilience and governance.
  • Ability to work under very minimum supervision.
  • Be able to multi-task and meet agreed/ short deadlines.
  • Good decision-making capability.
  • Good planning abilities with foresight and effective time management.
