Job Summary
A senior leadership role responsible for strategic and operational leadership across the hotel portfolio within an integrated resort environment. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, elevating guest experience, and ensuring operational excellence across diverse hotel brands and offerings.
The incumbent will report to the Vice President of Hotels, in executing hotel development initiatives, including new openings, renovations, and repositioning projects, ensuring readiness, brand alignment, and operational efficiency. The role also drives talent strategy and leadership development to build a high-performing workforce capable of delivering world-class hospitality experiences
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Transformation
- Support the Vice President in shaping and executing the overall hotel strategy aligned with RWS 2.0 growth plans.
- Drive hotel repositioning, renovations, and new hotel openings to enhance competitiveness and guest appeal.
- Translate business goals into actionable operational and commercial strategies.
2. Operations Oversight & Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end hotel operations across multiple properties (Rooms, Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services).
- Ensure consistent delivery of world class service standards and seamless guest experiences.
- Champion operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and service innovation.
3. Financial Performance & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive key financial metrics including RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, DOP and EBITDA.
- Partner with Revenue Management and Commercial teams to optimize pricing, segmentation, and distribution strategies.
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and profitability across the hotel portfolio.
4. Pre-opening, Renovation & Expansion
- Lead pre-opening activities for new hotels and major refurbishments (e.g., executive lounges, repositioning of existing brands).
- Collaborate with Development, Design, and Project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure readiness of operations, staffing, and service standards prior to launch.
5. Guest Experience & Brand Positioning
- Elevate guest satisfaction scores and online reputation through service excellence initiatives.
- Define and differentiate hotel positioning to attract targeted market segments (luxurious, lifestyle, MICE, etc.).
- Drive personalized and experiential offerings aligned with evolving traveler preferences.
6. Talent Leadership & Workforce Planning
- Lead, coach, and develop Directors and Assistant Director across hotel properties.
- Drive workforce planning to support expansion (significant headcount growth under RWS 2.0).
- Build a high-performance culture focused on engagement, service excellence, and leadership pipeline.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with stakeholders to create integrated guest experiences.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Marketing, and Communications to support business objectives.
- Align hotel operations with broader resort-wide initiatives and campaigns.
8. Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Engage senior leadership, owners, and key stakeholders on performance updates and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, brand, and corporate governance standards.
- Manage risk, safety, and sustainability practices across hotel operations.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- 15 - 20 years of commercial leadership experience in hospitality, with strong exposure to multi-property or regional roles.
- Proven track record in driving revenue and EBITDA in franchise hotel
- Deep expertise in sales strategy, revenue management, and distribution channels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in influencing without direct operational control.
- Highly analytical, commercially astute, and results driven.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
