Responsibilities
- Responsible for the banks treasury function including but not limited to funding management, liquidity management, currencies exposures, money market deals, FX transactions, managing all open positions, mismatch risks, daily regulatory ratio monitoring, Balance Sheet Management, FTP, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other banks, acting as the primary point of contact with external banking counterparts.
- Participate in projects for system enhancement or new system implementations
- Review, analyze and recommend treasury policies, procedures, and standard work practices to ensure effective performance of treasury activities and adherence to relevant laws and regulations, digital bank policies, and rules and regulations established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized University
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience with a strong understanding of the banks treasury systems, bank products, treasury risk, balance sheet management function, and instruments with a passion for capital markets, macroeconomics, and regulatory
- Knowledge in financial products and technical competence in the understanding, executing, and monitoring positions relating to FX, MM, Bonds and Derivative, managing the banks cash position in multiple currencies with a keen sense of market events
- Highly motivated, proactive, and versatile team player, possessing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with asset and liability management, FTP and financial modeling will be advantageous
- Financial Markets Regulatory & Practices (FMRP) certificate is an added advantage
