Assistant Technical Supervisor
Salary: $2,000 - $3,000 per month
Working Location: 7 Gul Circle, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30PM alternate Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Perform facilities maintenance for cranes, machinery and related equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance calls, feedback and equipment-related issues.
- Liaise with contractors and the in-house team to attend to equipment breakdowns and maintenance matters.
- Guide and supervise new technicians on work procedures and SOPs.
- Assist with manpower and resource deployment across the facilities under your charge.
- Provide technical support and standby assistance for emergency maintenance situations.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse and surrounding work areas.
- Ensure warehouse equipment and facilities are maintained in good working condition.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.
- Travel overseas for work assignments when required.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge and experience in repair or maintenance work.
- Comfortable working at height while adhering to PPE and workplace safety requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with technicians, contractors and internal teams.
- Candidates with relevant technical, maintenance or facilities experience are encouraged to apply.
Working Environment
This role involves hands-on maintenance work, including working at height and responding to equipment breakdowns. Candidates should be comfortable working in a warehouse/facilities environment and complying with all safety requirements.
