Job purpose

The Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager will primarily be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end recruitment activities across the organization, while supporting the broader spectrum of Human Resource functions including HR operations, employee lifecycle management, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, and HR administration.

This role works closely with department managers to drive manpower planning, attract and hire quality talent, and support HR initiatives that contribute to organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on recruitment experience, with the ability to support generalist HR functions as a secondary scope.

Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes across departments, including manpower planning, job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.,

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.,,,

  • Proactively source and engage candidates through various channels including job portals, social platforms, referrals, and networking.

  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial engagement to onboarding.,

  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews, provide timely feedback, and drive hiring decisions efficiently.,,

  • Prepare and manage offer processes including salary proposals, negotiations, and documentation.,

  • Track recruitment metrics and generate reports to support hiring performance and workforce planning.,

HR Operations & Generalist Support

  • Support the full spectrum of HR functions including employee lifecycle management, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, HR operations, and HR administration.,

  • Maintain and manage employee records, HR documentation, and HR databases to ensure data accuracy and compliance.HR,

  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation review, employee confirmation, contract administration, and offboarding.,

  • Assist in implementing performance management processes, including goal setting cycles, probation assessments, and performance reviews.,

  • Support learning and development initiatives such as training coordination and internal training programs.,

  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and productive workplace culture.,

  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and HR-related matters.HR

  • Support HR policy implementation and ensure HR practices comply with local labor regulations and company policies. HR,

  • Assist in HR reporting, HR analytics, and workforce data tracking to support HR decision-making.HR,

  • Participate in HR projects such as HR process improvements, system implementation, and HR digitalization initiatives. HR,HR

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support organizational development and HR initiatives.,

  • Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with business needs. ,

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist functions. 3-5

  • Proven hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition as part of HR responsibilities. ,

  • Candidates with headhunter or recruitment agency experience will have an added advantage.

  • Experience supporting industries such as Retail, FMCG, TCM, health supplements, or consumer-related sectors will be advantageous. (FMCG)(TCM)

  • Familiarity with HR processes including employee lifecycle management, performance management, and training coordination. ,

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple HR responsibilities in a fast-pacedenvironment.

  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented. ,

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese to communicate with English andMandarin-speaking stakeholders. ,
