Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Supply Chain – Asia to support regional supply chain operations across Asia markets, including India and Australasia. The role is responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning, order management, and coordination of product deliveries to distributors and dealers. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross functional teams including sales & marketing, regulatory, finance, supply chain counterparts, and external partners to ensure product availability, timely delivery, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning
- Support demand and supply planning activities for Asia markets to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability.
- Coordinate with regional hubs, third-party manufacturers, and distributors on supply plans and replenishment schedules.
- Monitor inventory health, stock movements, and forecast accuracy to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Participate in monthly alignment meeting with Global supply chain team
- Facilitate monthly S&OP meeting with country managers and marketing team
- Analyze supply chain performance and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
Order management
- Manage end-to-end order processing activities from order receipt to fulfilment and invoicing.
- Ensure timely and accurate order entry, confirmation, and execution in ERP systems.
- Liaise with country managers and dealers regarding order status, lead times, and shipment updates.
- Resolve order-related issues including allocation, backorders, shipping delays, and documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain strong service levels while balancing operational constraints and business priorities.
Logistics & Distribution management
- Coordinate with logistics providers, regional DC, dealers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely product deliveries.
- Monitor shipment schedules and proactively manage delivery risks or delays.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, shipping documentation, and regional trade requirements.
- Oversee inventory control processes including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, inventory accuracy, and aging management.
- Coordinate product redressing and relabeling activities with distributors and third-party service providers in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Ensure timely execution of redressing activities to support market-specific compliance and customer requirements
- Support issue resolution related to redressing timelines, product availability, and distributor operations.
- Ensure RDC operations comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Facilitate monthly review meeting with regional DC, 3PL and/or service providers to address operational issues, track and report key logistics performance metrics.
Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to support supply chain initiatives and projects.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, dealers, regional DC and external service providers.
- Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and operational improvements
- Support system enhancements, data analysis, and reporting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Business, Logistics, or related discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, customer operations, logistics, or distributor management within a regional environment
- Experience managing Asia regional operations, regional DC, and 3PL providers.
- Good understanding of S&OP/IBP processes and supply chain KPIs.
- Familiarity with redressing, relabeling, or secondary packaging coordination processes is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of inventory management, order fulfilment, and international shipping processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Project management or continuous improvement experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
Salary
$6,000 - $6,500
