Job Summary
Lead and coordinate a team of technicians to execute preventive and corrective maintenance on critical industrial systems, ensuring operational reliability, safety compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of technicians to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring timely and effective task completion
- Oversee troubleshooting and maintenance of coolant, chilled water, compressed air, electrical systems, and equipment to sustain optimal plant operations
- Monitor system performance metrics and initiate corrective actions to prevent downtime and maintain operational efficiency
- Conduct root cause analysis and support breakdown investigations to identify and resolve system failures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and reports to support operational transparency and compliance
- Assist in planning maintenance schedules and allocate manpower resources to meet operational demands
- Enforce adherence to workplace safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors to coordinate maintenance efforts and resolve technical issues
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised local polytechnic
- Experience maintaining various electrical systems in an industrial or plant maintenance environment
- Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintenance reporting and documentation
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills to manage and motivate technical teams
