Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Cafe Manager to support the daily operations of our cafe. This role works closely with the Cafe Manager to ensure smooth store operations, excellent customer service, and consistent product quality.
The ideal candidate is operationally strong, customer-focused, and capable of leading shifts while supporting team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Cafe Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Lead and supervise shifts to ensure efficient service and workflow
- Ensure high standards of beverage quality, food presentation, and customer experience
- Assist in staff training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and service recovery
- Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and wastage control
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company SOPs
- Support sales targets and operational KPIs set by management
- Step in as acting manager in the absence of the Cafe Manager
- Assist in executing promotions, campaigns, and store activities
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in F&B or cafe operations
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred
- Strong understanding of cafe workflow and customer service standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Good leadership and team coordination skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
