OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Assistant Social Media & Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and growing NoMad Singapore's social media presence, online reputation and guest engagement, while supporting broader marketing communications initiatives. This role enhances brand visibility across digital, social and email platforms through strategic content creation, community engagement and campaign execution.

Working hand-in-hand with the NoMad Singapore Marketing & Brands team, this role ensures all marketing and communications efforts are aligned with NoMad Singapore's brand identity, luxury lifestyle positioning, and commercial objectives.

The role also partners closely with operational departments, external agencies, media partners and influencers to deliver impactful storytelling, drive engagement and support revenue-generating campaigns.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of the Assistant Social Media & Marketing Manager are summarised below; however, the list is not exhaustive.

CONTENT CREATION & STRATEGY

  • Develop and manage monthly social media content calendars across all platforms.
  • Create engaging content including photography, videography, copywriting and email marketing assets.
  • Plan and execute content shoots in collaboration with hotel departments and creative partners.
  • Ensure storytelling reflects NoMad Singapore's luxury lifestyle positioning.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & ONLINE REPUTATION

  • Manage all hotel and F&B social media accounts.
  • Respond to guest comments, direct messages and online reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster online community engagement and strengthen guest relationships.
  • Monitor and manage online reputation across social platforms and review channels.

UGC & INFLUENCER MANAGEMENT

  • Curate and leverage user-generated content (UGC) to enhance brand authenticity.
  • Identify, engage and manage influencer partnerships to amplify brand storytelling.
  • Coordinate influencer stays, collaborations and content deliverables.

PAID SOCIAL & CAMPAIGN EXECUTION

  • Work with digital marketing agencies to execute paid social campaigns.
  • Support promotional campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and direct revenue.
  • Ensure campaign assets and messaging are aligned with brand guidelines.

ANALYTICS & REPORTING

  • Monitor and analyse social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Track KPIs including engagement, reach, growth and conversion metrics.
  • Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations to improve performance.

BRAND CONSISTENCY & TREND MONITORING

  • Ensure all content and communication aligns with NoMad brand standards and visual identity.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and digital innovations.
  • Recommend new ideas to keep the brand relevant, competitive and culturally engaged.

CROSS-DEPARTMENTAL COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with all hotel departments to support operational and promotional needs.
  • Support marketing initiatives across F&B, Rooms, Events and Lifestyle programming.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, designers and production partners where required.

The Assistant Social Media & Marketing Manager is expected to:

  • Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Show strong attention to detail in content creation and brand representation.
  • Be proactive, data-driven and commercially aware.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments and external partners.
  • Uphold NoMad's luxury standards and brand values at all times.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation or marketing communications, preferably within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, content strategy and online reputation management.
  • Experience managing social media campaigns, influencer partnerships and paid media activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media management tools.
  • Knowledge of photography, videography, editing and basic graphic design is advantageous.
  • Strong copywriting, editing and communication skills.
  • Experience working with agencies, creative teams and production vendors is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational, project management and multitasking skills.
  • Portfolio of work (social media/content campaigns) to be submitted with application.
