Job Description
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate section-level projects, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaborations that enhance the operational efficiency, service delivery, and organisational effectiveness of the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT). The role supports the implementation of divisional priorities by driving initiatives within the section and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Project Planning & Management
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of section-level projects and initiatives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Developing Standard Operating Procedures & Workflow Processes Review
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and work processes where necessary.
- Review existing IOC workflows and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and service standards.
Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring
- Analyse IOC operational data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor project outcomes and operational performance indicators.
Digital Transformation & Technology Enablement
- Support digital transformation initiatives relevant to the section's functions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to improve the operational efficiency of IOC.
Stakeholder Communication And Reporting Support
- Engage internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Support communication and change management activities arising from improvement initiatives.
- Prepare management papers, presentations, and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Degree with at least 4 years of experiences in project management
- Experience leading projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Experience in process review and business improvement
- Resourceful, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong team player
- Able to see the bigger picture and understand how different processes, teams and stakeholders interact
- Responds well to changing priorities and requirements, and remains focused
- Proficient with MS applications
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt are advantageous
