Job Summary
The Assistant Secretary General (ASG) supports SNPC's management by coordinating strategic initiatives, overseeing operations, managing communications, and representing the organization to advance its mission and goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute SNPC events by coordinating logistics, communications, and stakeholder engagement to meet organizational standards
- Coordinate promotion of SNPC events to engage athletes, stakeholders, and the public
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance SNPC's visibility and reputation
- Oversee media relations including press releases, interviews, and public relations efforts to promote a positive image
- Oversee SNPC's digital presence, including website and social media platforms, ensuring effective stakeholder communication
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with SNPC's mission in collaboration with the Secretary General and stakeholders
- Support daily administrative operations to ensure smooth organizational functioning and compliance with policies
- Facilitate communication and coordination across SNPC departments to enhance operational efficiency
- Act as liaison with external bodies such as the International Paralympic Committee and International Federations to build positive relationships
- Contribute to policy development and ensure effective implementation and adherence within the organization
- Represent SNPC at internal and external meetings and events, articulating its mission, values, and objectives professionally
- Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports on organizational activities and performance to the Secretary General
- Contribute to the annual report by highlighting key achievements, challenges, and communication plans
Required competencies and qualifications
- Experience in corporate partnership and event management
- Experience in strategic, operational, and administrative planning
- At least 5 years in senior management, preferably in a non-profit organization
