In this newly created position, you will be responsible for the international acquisition of new customers, the development of sales and go-to-market strategies, and the internal advancement of corresponding sales processes. Working in close collaboration with the board members, you will actively support the company's ongoing transformation from a traditional plant manufacturer and craft-based business into a globally operating industrial company.
Reporting directly to the Project Sales Director, you will make a key contribution to the future strategic direction of sales, the sustainable acquisition and development of key customers, and the achievement of our ambitious growth targets.
JOB SCOPE
- Resourceful in building, maintaining, and expanding long-term strategic partnerships with companies in the semiconductor, electronics, life sciences, photovoltaic, institutional R & D, and other high-purity applications industries, as well as with general contractors and partners.
- Conduct regular visits to prospective and existing customers, representing the company at trade fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction to foster repeat business.
- Monitor competition, market trends/intelligence and emerging opportunities, analyze specific market potential, including in the growth market of all industries.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to develop and implement a sustainable sales strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement of internal sales processes in collaboration with the Director of Business Development & Sales.
- Independently prepare proposals, and manage the complete negotiation process for projects up to 5 million (OEM, Contract Manufacturing, Project Business).
- Oversee revenue budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
- Active collaboration with management, project, and product development/ management.
- Representing the company effectively to stakeholders and customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/degree in Business Studies, Mechanical/Electrical/ Chemical or related field.
- Alternatively, technical or commercial training combined with many years of industry and sales experience including a well-established industry network.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in B2B sales for complex solutions or systems, ideally in plant/special machinery construction for semiconductors, electronics, life sciences, photovoltaic, institutional research & development, and other industries.
- Global experience in technical sales of customized, complex solutions with multi-year project cycles.
- A strong network within the OEM environment is an advantage.
- Technological enthusiasm, and strong identification with advanced technical product portfolio, are essential.
- Demonstrated assertiveness, negotiation strength and decision-making skill om competitive, consultancy-intensive environment.
- Strong drive to succeed, dynamic, goal-focused, result-focused, and motivated by winning new business.
- Proven success in proactive customer acquisition and strategic account development in fast-paced environments with technically complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, customer orientation, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on, success-driven attitude
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required due to frequent interaction with Mandarin-speaking vendors, suppliers, contractors and customers.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
