We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to lead and grow our analytical instrumentation business. This role is responsible for driving sales of water quality analyser across municipal, industrial, and government sectors, including building strong customer relationships, effective distributor management and developing strategic market opportunities.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of water quality monitoring instruments with proven sales leadership and business development experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets for water quality analysers.
- Manage and grow key accounts including water infrastructure/ utilities, semiconductor facility, industrial users and engineering company.
- Identify new market opportunities, projects, and tender prospects in water and wastewater applications.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to deliver consistent performance.
- Work closely with technical, service, and marketing teams to provide integrated customer solutions.
- Prepare and present technical-commercial quotation/proposals, tenders, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customers needs to refine sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and regular management reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Environmental or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in water quality analysers, analytical instruments, or related environmental technologies.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within water & wastewater or process industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of online and laboratory water quality analysers (e.g. pH, conductivity, turbidity, TOC, nutrients, metals).
- Experience managing sales teams and major accounts is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong customer focus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
