Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct indepth research on ASEAN market needs, sourcing trends, and supplier capabilities to support production efficiency and regional resource expansion. This includes gathering market intelligence and identifying upcoming opportunities or risks.
- Develop the ASEAN sourcing map and benchmark industry strategies to identify competitive and costeffective regional sourcing opportunities. Provide recommendations that support longterm procurement planning.
- Lead outsourcing activities for current HQ products, including coordination for prototype builds.
- Ensure stable procurement of key parts by maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors. Improve logistics flow, strengthen suppliers operational readiness, and minimise delivery risks to support consistent production schedules.
- Support crossfunctional teams by providing sourcing inputs for quotations, cost analysis, and supplier evaluation when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the sourcing process by identifying gaps, proposing enhancements, and helping implement solutions.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in ASEAN market research and regional sourcing trends.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, procurement or other related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and costefficiency strategies.
- Proven experience coordinating outsourcing activities and/or prototype build support.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation capabilities.
- Solid analytical skills for evaluating market data, supplier capability, and cost competitiveness.
- Strong teamwork and crossfunctional collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Japan HQ.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and overseas when required.
