Assistant Retail Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate staff to achieve KPIs, ensuring team performance consistently meets or exceeds targets.

• Collaborate with Marketing to implement local store strategies that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

• Monitor inventory levels and manage timely stock replenishment, returns, and adherence to company policies.

• Continuously improve work procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Supervise stocktaking and random count exercises to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, housekeeping, and visual merchandising.

• Collaborate with HODs to optimize the merchandise mix and ensure high-quality customer service.

• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolutions.

• Manage HR-related matters, including schedules, overtime claims, medical reimbursements, and staff discipline.

• Provide ongoing training, staff development, and counseling to improve performance and morale.

• Participate in budget planning and ensure store operations align with financial resources and profitability.

• Contribute to store reconfiguration and renovation projects to enhance layout and customer experience.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Diploma in Retail Management or related disciple

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experiences
