Assistant Restaurant Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations at Yanhuo. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent guest experiences, ensuring smooth front-of-house operations, and supporting strong bar management. The ideal candidate is service-driven, operationally sound, and confident leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily front-of-house operations

  • Ensure smooth service flow and consistently high hospitality standards

  • Lead by example on the floor, engaging guests and handling service recovery when required

  • Manage reservations, table allocation, and overall guest flow

  • Supervise, train, and motivate service crew and bar team

  • Oversee bar operations, including beverages, inventory control, and ordering

  • Ensure outlet cleanliness, organisation, and overall presentation at all times

  • Handle cashiering, POS operations, and daily closing procedures

  • Monitor sales performance, beverage costs, and guest feedback

  • Support promotions, events, and monthly operational reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in F&B

  • Strong understanding of front-of-house and bar operations

  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays

  • Passion for hospitality, people management, and guest experience
